Probably won't be anything that great until May.  There are screenshots to be had on IGN however.  They are quite old, but they look real nice anyways.  Hopefully in May the RPG support for GameCube will be like a good old b!tch slap for the PS2 users who think GameCube doesn't have any worthwhile RPGs.  (Thing that bothers me is that they claim to be serious RPG players, yet they say that any RPG on GameCube sucks because blah blah blah...)

if it plays like the other tales games did, then expect something great. maybe not as great as a final fantasy, but pretty close. and that's only if you consider the final fantasy series being the best RPG series out there, which i don't think it is, but others do.

In the old days, Final Fantasy could keep up with Dragon Quest, but barely.  These days Final Fantasy is just a memory of what was once great.

Tales of....  games have always been great.  I definately look forward to a cel shaded GameCube incarnation.  But Skies of Arcadia comes first.  (That game is fantastic)

The Tales of games rules, but if capcom brings Breath Of Fire for GameCube, that will be the best game in the history of GameCube's RPGs

The newest installment of the BoF series is definatly an aquired taste. But it has a lot of potential. As for the tales series I accually have to say I have never played them. I guess I will have now.  (As for Dragon Quarter, I'm playing it befor Xenosaga, since its the one that I don't quiet know what it will hand me, and I'm enjoying it.)
Stupidity is lost on my. Then again I'm almost always lost.

yeah the tales games usually all have good stories and a great battle system
the battles are in real time and take place on a 2d plane
they really make the game interesting
hopefully this new game will be just as good as some of the others

Well in general the Tales of games are quite good. I love the battle system and I know the forum members that hate Turn based battle would like the more action oriented battles. Give Tales of Phantasia a try, I wont say how you can play it and where to get it but its a very good RPG.

The Tales of series has random battles but they are real time. So you should be able to get into the game Icons. That Tales of series has a great battle system while I actually like turn baseds RPGs....its nice to see a RPG with a different take on how battles are done. I wonder if it will have Swordians like Tales of Destiny or will Namco just return to regular weapons for the characters. I kind of liked the Swordians. I never played Tales of Eternia....I hear the producer of that game is responsible for Tales of Symphonia. How was Tales of Eternia was it better or worse than Tales of Phantasia.
