Well the poor guy on the other side of the phone kind of had to give me a problem because by all accounts my gamecube was out of warranty. But it isn't like I dropped it or spilt anything on it, I'm pretty sure that the problem is a manufacturers defect that just didn't show up until a year and 5 months after I bought it (Figures). Anyhow, since they offered to extend the warranty I can't quite say anything bad about their customer service. When you think about it it wouldn't be worthwhile for them to lose me as a customer over a repair that will cost them maybe $50 max (in reality) Since I spend probably $200-300 a year on nintendo products, and now probably will for the next 10-30 years.
