The newest release of the streaming media server includes a Wii beta version.

 MediaMall's PlayOn media server has been available for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and other devices for a while.  Thanks to the company's reply to a user email, it has confirmed that the most recent release of PlayOn includes a beta for Wii functionality.  After setting up the server on their PC, Wii users need only to access "playon.tv" in the Wii's web browser to start streaming their favorite TV programs.    

MediaMall's main concern with the Wii beta is apparently its video quality.  Due to the hardware limitations of the Wii, its streamed video is not of the same quality as it is on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.  MediaMall made it clear that they were looking for feedback as to whether or not the current video levels (Low, Medium, and High quality) are acceptable for their users.

I'm sure the Wii version will suck - it's no better than any other streaming solution, since they all use low-resolution FLV videos, because it's being streamed through Opera. If you want to watch videos on your Wii, then homebrew is your (only) friend. PlayOn for Xbox 360 is a different story. The only good thing is it lets you watch Hulu, even though the image quality will be pretty bad, though I suppose that depends on the size of your TV, and your definition of "pretty bad". Good to see Wii support, it just sucks that this is the best you're going to get.

I thought Hulu had a contract with MS for Xbox LIVE?
why would you need playon to watch Hulu on your 360?

You can't watch Hulu on the 360, it doesn't have a web browser,and there is no Hulu support in the dashboard. As of right now, I believe this is the only way. I used the free trial before, it worked pretty well (also you could stream Netflix way before M$ allowed it, IIRC), but I put my old PC in my living room now and basically watch whatever I want on there, without jumping through any hoops.
