Maybe I just need to spend more time trying to get a grasp on the controls. I can't for the life of me get any good rhythm going in the swimming one.

Maybe I just don't like losing to my 10-year old sister at a game  :rolleyes:

In the swimming event there are different motions depending on what type of character you have.
I found the trampoline the hardest event for me.

I haven't seen Birdo yet Mop_it_up.

Looks like hockey and figure skating are going to be in the game.

Yeah I know, but the confirmation of figure skating still makes me happy because that's one of the events I wanted to see. But I think Birdo will be in the game because he was planned for the first one; there's still a lot of time before this game is released so we may not hear anything more for a while.

Things are looking pretty grim for the two playable characters I wanted to see in the game.

It has already been confirmed that Toad is a referee again and won't be playable. I kind of figured that would be the case but I was still hoping.

Despite almost making it into the first game, it is starting to seem doubtful that Birdo will appear. The two slots she could have filled, Power and All-Around, have already been taken by other Mario representatives. However, I think she was going to be a Skill-type in the original, though I'm not sure. So I guess you never know.
