Topic: DSi - will it fit inside the Club Nintendo silver DS Lite case (400 coins)?

Hello everyone. I don't know if any of you have the silver DS Lite case (that holds two games inside of it) It is 400 coins from our North American Club Nintendo. I know the DSi is a few mm longer than the DS Lite. It looks like when I keepp my DS Lite inside of this case there is a little bit of wiggle room. I was wondering if any of you have the DSi (imported) and know if it will fit inside of the Club Nintendo DS Lite case. Thanks for your help. Have a nice day.

The DSi is longer? All the reports i've seen say the DSi is slightly smaller than the DS Lite.

It is thinner (if you close a DSi and a DS Lite and lay them flat on a table and were to measure them with a ruler from the group up to the ceiling, the DSi is thinner. If you look at the top of a DSi (where the outter camera is, and a DS Lite where the two-squares DS logo is in the case) you will see that the DSi is just a bit longer:

for example. thats why I am wondeirng if it will still fit inside of the Club Nintendo case that I got in Janurary.

I'm not sure if you ever got an answer for you question, but I was browsing through this article and thought of you. 

We had one more question about cases. Will the DSi fit into the Club Nintendo silver DS Lite case? The answer is... maybe. I have a few of these white DS Lite cases, and while it's technically too narrow for the DSi, it does fit OK—though I don't use the second elastic strap as it covers and might scuff the camera plastic. My advice is only get it if you don't mind finding out that it doesn't fit when your case arrives.

I was actually the one who asked that question for that article. Well now that I have my DSi, it does fit in the Club Nintendo case, but it's somewhat of a tight fit. Actually, the page where you can order that reward now says: "Note: The Nintendo DSi will not fit in this case." - that was added after I asked this question. Thanks anyways though.
