I think Tetris beat Guitar Hero by a decade or two.

Oh definitely. There were a lot of games that were truly blue ocean before there was even a name for them.

GH is just the most recent example, especially since it came before the Wii was released.

I wonder if the black Wii that Iwata was holding up at e3 2005 was real. Isn't high time for the Wii to come out in different colors? At least the Wii remotes/nunchucks if nothing else...
Considering it's a feeble old man holding the system in one hand, I'd say it is just a hollow shell.
Actually, since that was back when Wii was known as the Revolution, if it did have any electronic components in it then it probably wasn't the same as what the Wii is now.

I don't think I could resist buying another Wii system if they released them in pink. Though it would have to be real pink, not that pitiful reddish-pink like my Nintendo 64.

The PSP wasn't beating the DS every week, they were more even (although the PSP was winning a bit more). Agreed that it was Nintendogs that really pushed the DS ahead.

As for multiple system colors, I don't see it happening anytime soon. They are having a hard enough time manufacturing enough systems in just 1 color. Same thing with Wii Remotes and Nunchuks, Nintendo sells a sh*t-ton of both. If/when sales slow down (it's been over 2 years and they are still selling tons of systems here in the US and a good amount elsewhere), then maybe they will.
