anything interesting happen in the world of videogames since my brief departure?

fake edit: Hey I bought WiiFit and boy are my calves sore.
maybe I should talk about this in a WiiFit thread or something. and look for the rumor thread while I'm there...

The real E3 is dead, but there's a new E3, the successor to the real E3, and I assumed he meant that.

I know the real E3 died and was replaced some some sub-par separated event. But I couldn't remember when it was, cause what I remember is that the traditional E3 was in May. I just saw a mention of how E3 was very disappointing on some site somewhere so that made think that maybe I missed it.

rumors i've heard are saying XBL and PSN with a possible retail release for Wii because of wiiware size limitations.
