That's right. 21 people signed up but only one person got a PERSONAL special greeting and warm welcome for signing up. I like the attempt to try to cover up any hurt feelings with the little parenthesis message.

this mafia is sounding strangely like the failed game we held at rats collectibles a little over a year ago.

I've never publicly admitted this before although a few forum members know about it. I played in the rat's failed mafia game. I never wanted to admit my identity in case another game that was better set up was run there. Plus, I wasn't happy with the result. It wasn't a bad game, the rules just weren't defined well. The worst thing about it is that even with all the bad circumstances surrounding my mafia, we still could have overcame them all and won the game if Shyguy had voted properly or recieved the messages I sent him. In the end, the best I could settle for was a tie and scorched earth policy (everybody dies) which is what happened.

It is also the only time I've been a godfather. Interesting experience. Sure, I lasted to the end and kept my mafia in it but I realize that I'm best served as a mafia goon. The reason being that I couldn't always trust my mafia members to show up or vote with me. When someone is made godfather, they generally make sure to do a good job. And even though goons also care abit more to survive, they don't always play as hard. I'll play hard in any role so I'm best to serve since that will make the mafia more powerful with at least two people playing hard.

Oooo. I like this strategy but I can do even better. If I win and people can prove that they helped let me live on my way to victory, I will give them not only this prize but also the prize from Spak-Spang's mafia, which I won, as well as another VC game from my own pocket. That's 3 prizes you can get for throwing victory away to let me have the victory.

Who's going to offer you a better deal than that?

I sincerley and deeply apologize to anyone who was scared bymy failed attempt at a Mafia, first you have to remember at that point I had only played two mafia games and I sucked at them both, second I was using it as a way to bribe my friends into posting in my forums when a bunch of other people would be on, to kinda stir up some posting in the rest of the forums. Instead I got a whole lotta spambots.
