I think Smash Bro and SUPER had the best ideas.

What about Short Circuit? Wouldn't that be a fun game? You could get to fight the other robots who all act and sound like 3 stooges. Or even a updated 3 stooges game would be cool too.

Actually there is 1 movie franchise I would *love* to see made into a *good* video game, well they had a game back in the 80's and I liked it just cuz it was based on my favorite movie franchise of all time, and that is A Nightmare on Elm Street. But what I want is a real scary Resident Evil type game that takes place in and out of the dream world. Something kinda like Eternal Darkness but with Freddy Kruger, but it has to be gory. I was hoping after Freddy vs Jason came out it would spark more interest in the Nightmare series, now I have to hope the new Nightmare movie will do a better job.

The aforementioned Mr. Smith Goes to Washington would be a good idea for a Phoenix Wright style game about politics.

Except all you'd be doing is reading a filibuster of the Constitution over and over.

Reefer Madness.  If it hasn't already been said, would make a great GTA clone with humor and coolness.

Star Wars!

Now your just trolling.

They need to make a game based off The Running Man. Only more violent and with 1000% more guns. Start the game fighting Gladiators and move on to fighting the government.

I actually like this idea. They could use style from the Hook-Man version of RE4. Not sure how you could actually combat Freddy though since no one ever really puts up a fight against him, most people just die, and a lucky few are lucky enough to keep escaping until they figured out a way to "kill" him at the end.

However if they made it into a Freddy Vs Jason type game... I could see Jason being like the Resident Evil's Nemesis character, showing up periodically to kill you while you can either run away or use up most of your ammo to put him down for a short time, meanwhile your "sleep" meter slowly drains and, like the insanity meter, more and more paranormal things (caused by Freddy) begin to happen (thus creating more enemies to try and kill you). There can be anti-sleeping pills strewn about the mansion but instead of being able to collect them they'll be an old-school video game item where you just walk over and and it gets used automatically, so you have to decide 'ok, should i use this now and keep freddy off my back or save it for later when i really need it' to creat even more tension for the player.

Hell to make it feel more like a freddy/jason movie you can control 5 different teens, several of which MUST get killed in the most gruesome way possible in order to progress. It doesnt have to be one single character that survives at the end either, the story can change accordingly for more replay value.

:(

Ever think up something cool like that, then get sad you'll never see it done??? Its a bummer. F*ck you Rat for making me dream

That last parts a joke, don't go gettin offended

You know what would actually be a pretty fun game, that could take influence from a movie, but would be more freeing.

UHF.

The story would be that the station is once again going backrupt, and needs help in rescued.  So that Alien Scientist dude comes down and zaps Wierd Al so he has to "live" the television shows on his air.  He soon finds out that other people are also in his shows trying to sabotage the shows before they cross the airwaves into people's home for viewing.

Yes the plot is absurdly stupid...but it would work for this game...and you can have television shows that are full on games, to minigame cooking shows to what not...all with a crazy sense of humor.

I keep thinking that Run Lola Run would make a great game.

What I meant to say, of course, was Star SEARCH.  The mention of which surely wouldn't offend anyone the way an implication about the over-saturation of Star Wars games might.

Amadeus would make an excellent rhythm-based game, with the point of view switching between Amadeus and Salieri at various points in their careers, culminating in the unfinished Requiem at the end.  It would be a very interesting choice if the game just sort of stopped at the end of the unfinished Requiem, going black and sliding straight into a silent credits sequence.  Of course, it wouldn't sell for beans.  It is very encouraging the the Wii's functionality could make games like that possible, though.

They need to make a game based off The Running Man.

They already did that; it was called Manhunt.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Are you sure about that? Because that is nothing like The Running Man. You know, that future game show that kills political dissidents. Arnold. Explosive collars.
