More Twin Snakes Website Updates
« on: March 02, 2004, 06:33:05 AM »
Konami Japan has re-launch the official website for Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. Also, check out the first commercial for the game.

With the Japanese and US releases of Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes quickly approaching, Konami has decided it's time to take the wraps off the game's final website.

The new site supports a complete redesign and a new tagline "MGS that surpasses MGS." Although it's been re-launched, the entire website has not yet been completely updated. Some areas, such as the Mission Records still have their content "coming soon."

Along with the new site Konami has put up the game’s Japanese commercial for download. It can be found in the download portion of the new site. The commercial shows a very spartan snow-covered building with video of the game projected on to the wall. It ends with a voice saying "Metal Gear Solid in GameCube."

the voice acting may be bad, but it can't top the engrish of the original Metal Gear. I played that through this weekend and it sometimes hurt to read the dialogue.

Also why have I not seen one commercial for the game? Its gonna sell, but it would be nice to give the game some press. They have been pumping FF:CC to death, and yet when it comes to their M rated games they take a step back.

I know Konami is publishing the game, but Nintendo lent a development team and has given companies like EA press.
