Topic: Merrick and Rosso added to XIII Cast

Headline goes straight over International readers' heads.

Nintendo Australia reports that Australian comedians Merrick Watts and Tim Ross (aka Merrick & Rosso) will be featured in Ubi Soft's XIII.  The Australian comedy duo will get to star as part of the enemy forces who are out to stop the game's lead character, XIII (voiced by David Duchovny).

The pair have been transformed into cel-shaded versions of themselves for the game, and will also be playable for the game's multiplayer mode.  They had this to say:

"It's really exciting for us to be involved in the casting for this video game", said Merrick. "It's not the first time we've been involved in games. I was the body model for Duke Nukem and, of course, Rosso is famous for his work as Lara Croft."

Rosso is equally excited - "XIII is a bloody addictive game. The last time my joystick saw this much action was in a hotel in Vegas. Does this come out on the Commodore 64?"

Merrick is the tall one who looks like he should wear a training bra for his little man boobs. Rosso is the one who has volunteered to babysit Rolf Harris's beard whilst he is on holidays.

And if you don't know who Rolf Harris is, you're a very lucky person.
