AU Medal of Honour: Heroes
« on: February 06, 2008, 10:52:42 PM »
So the Australian PAL version of Medal of Honour was released today and apparently the 32 player online multiplayer has been removed (along with all traces of multiplayer). Good work EA, delay the game for 3 months and strip the most important feature of the title. There was no specific mention of the removal before the game went on sale.

Apparently the manual still refers to the multiplayer mode as does a joint Nintendo/ EA competition.

Edit: EU version seems to retain online.

Well for only $100 you can't expect much

It sounds like they delayed it to get the online working here, then decided it was too much effort and just gave up and took out the entire thing, leaving us with a delay and an inferior product. EA make me sick

The multi-player is the only thing that holds it above water though.  Even then, it isn't that good of multi-player :P

Yeah, the single player game is pretty short, and the zapper mode goes over the same levels the FPS does.
