WARNING! Do not open the latest Nintendo newsletter!
« on: March 24, 2003, 02:11:34 PM »
If you want to keep yourself from seeing any BIG Wind Waker Spoilers, DO NOT open the latest Nintendo newsletter sent by E-Mail. Just delete it. Trust us, you don't want to see this!

The biggest hint I'm going to give those of you that just can't stop yourselves is that this newsletter gives away one of the best surprises in the game, and once you've seen it, you're NEVER going to be able to erase it from your memory, completely ruining the surprise. Please ... just delete that e-mail.

Well I got lucky I guess. I opened the e-mail before I read the update. But my email doesnt read HTML really, it just shows a bunch of ugly links to pictures. Was the spoiler in the movie in the newsletter? Or just a picture? If it was just a picture, I may have seen it in Nintendo Power, and I don't like them anymore, as y'all might know. I shouldn'tve even looked at the Wind Waker strategy section. Oh wll. It wasnt the end of the world. I'm getting the game tomorrow!

Unfortunately, I read my e-mail as soon as I sign on to AOL.  Visiting PGC is almost always the second thing I do.  Needless to say, I've been spoiled.  How f-ing ridiculous is this?  I don't want to spoil this for anyone else, but it was like when I read the Great Gatsby, and knew who died at the end before I finished the book.  Or when I knew the ending to the Sixth Sense before seeing it.

I guess I should be pissed off.  I'm not really though, since I'm a passive person.  Maybe I'll e-mail Nintendo.  I'm quite disappointed.  *sigh*

See....I already knew that about the game.  But, I was still really surprised that Nintendo would put that there.  What's up with that?
I like videogames.  I like them a lot.

i was checking my e-mail before one of my many visits to planet game cube each day, and saw Zelda as the subject.  i was weary and didn't scroll far, then it said 'please wait for movie to load'  i don't think i've ever scrolled away or closed a window so fast.  i've managed to see very little of the game.  just what was in the nintendo power (which was all the same stuff in the book that was with Oot bonus disc.)  I'm ready for this game.  Best Buy told me they'd have it tomorrow!!
