Evan is back for real this time, and he's got a bone to pick with Roger Ebert!

 I'm on fire, and now I think I'm ready to bust a move.

It's a double guest-star extravaganza this week with Evan Burchfield and Jon Lindemann joining the fray. Also, we've launched a new feature: Mike's Mailbag! Mostly though, we just let Evan run wild and rip Roger Ebert a new one.

Oh, and there was some news this week too. A Pokémon Trainer is going to be in Smash Bros Brawl, and there are more hints at Sonic showing up. Nintendo's finally promoting Metroid Prime 3, right on the Wii's main screen. We also discuss Chibi-Robo Park Patrol's possible Wal-Mart exclusivity.

Don't forget, send us listener mail! Mike will be repeating his mailbag segment next week, the first question we receive will be answered, no matter how crazy it is!

Sorry about the lack of a Talkback, folks. Human error.
I am Karl Castaneda's news-posting clone, also known as Karl Castaneda #2. I have an inferiority complex, thanks to my being a clone. Fear me!

This was a great episode. Evan always kind of gets on my nerves in the forums (perhaps that's just how he sounds in writing), but on the podcast he seemed to make alot of sense and didn't come across condescending in the least. More podcasts of this quality would be awesome.

Super Metroid being proclaimed as the Best Game ever . . . actually holds some water lol. I love Super Metroid but I don't know if I can say it's my favorite game ever but it's definitely in the top 5.

Oh and lol Ian got owned.

. . .

LOL just kidding Evan got return owned. (that was funny).

Oh and I agree Evan is actually good on the Podcasts . . . which is hard for me to say haha.

YES!!!! MY E-MAIL!!! LOL!!!! YES YES YES!!!! /happydance

I love you guys lol. Awesome response much love, best response ever!

Shiek debate rocks. "She magically grows a penis" lol!

LOL!!!! @ me being right and the Smash blog destroying the forums and podcast. <3 you guys

Not only did IGN get owned but they got a Nintendo reply as well which was classic. Nintendo shut Matt up that's for sure.

Evan I'll give you props on your video game art segment, well said very well said.

Also Evan is pretty well educated with certain things, I'll give you credit there as well.

Very good discussion guys, it's a shame RFN vs Evan didn't work out but it worked out great in the end and even I see myself agreeing with Evan.

If all else fails and you want a good VS segment, get GP and myself lined up to be guests and fight about stuff like which is better Power Stone 2 or Smash Melee and why?

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

Dang it, I missed this on the front page again. Did I ever mention that the NWR layout sucks at times?

All I know is that Smash_Brothers and I owned the whole NWR staff regarding the Wii's availability and being made fun because we thought it would sell out on launch day.

That was a great episode. Evan had some holes in his argument, but it was fun to listen to.

Did you guys skip VC games or did I somehow miss them?
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Skipped due to my hastily written show notes, where I forgot to include that segment.

WHO NEEDZ 'EM?

P.S. Shy, I may have holes in my argument, I can't tell - I haven't listened to the podcast all the way through yet, and as I recall I was speaking hastily towards the end. One of these days I'll go back to this thread and post about why everything I said was completely wrong.
