I don't know if I just have tremendous bad luck or that I am just stupid with my handhelds but today ended another Ds's life. I bought an original DS phat at launch and that lasted me until. . . . oh right before the DS lite was announced, then it decided to kill off its L trigger and make that button disfunctional. Then the DSL got announced so I figured, oh well I would of gotten that one anyhow, so I will buy one. Then today Im lying on the ground playing EBA, NOT TOUCHING THE SYSTEM AT ALL and the system's hinge just falls down and hits the ground. I look at my DS to see the right hinge carrying the system's led on the floor and the system in half. Now the system is still completely functional but the whole thing is disconnected and you cant really play on it at all.
Now I know Nintendo is nice and if I called them they would probably offer me a refurbished DS for 60 dollars or so, but I am not sure if I want one yet. Of course I want a DS its the love of my life I already have 20+ titles in my collection, but theres rumors that another DS is in the making for yet again another redesign. Then again even if they do announce a redesign at E3 in July and have the japanese out in August/Sept do I want to import one? DO I WANT TO WAIT THAT LONG!? I NEED MY FREAKIN DS FIX~! GAH GAH GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~! ::insert phoenix wright defeated look::
I dunno what do you guys think. I have never had any issues with any Nintendo products before, why do I have to start now? ; ;
