I am interested in getting Wave Race 64, I remember how amazing the water looked in that game when it came out at launch for the N64.

Wave Race is one of my favorite N64 games, and I've been waiting for a VC release from the start.  Really looking forward to playing it again.

Wave Race 64 makes me happy. I don't think that the GC sequel was that exciting though.

...which won't be released until there's a 6-month Wii game drought.

Remember how they skipped SMB3 for the GBA cash-ins? It'll be another 12-18 months before we see it on VC.

If you're talking about the Classic series, then yeah. And even for the Mario Advance series, they waited until last to remake SMB3.

I can't blame them for being so protective of it, though.. It is the bestselling non-pack-in game ever, plus it's simply one of the best games of alltime. Even though I like the original SMB and SM64 better for sentimental reasons, SMB3 is as close to perfection as you can get from a game.

That was perhaps the biggest rip off Nintendo has ever pulled, we still had many more levels to unlock and they didn't bother releasing the rest of the Ecards. Sadly I don't think we will ever see all the extra levels!

I don't get that.  That's like having a football game and the 49ers of the 80's shows up.  Do you laugh at them because the current 49ers suck?  Well maybe you do but the 49ers of the 80's then kick your ass.  The good Shining Force games aren't hurt by modern crappy Shining games.

But really the big news is Donkey Kong Jr. Math.  The game your parents bought you and you never played and hid when your friends came over so they didn't beat you up for being such a big loser is now available on the VC!!

It has been available since the start or at least very early in Europe IIRC.
