Nintendo changing their liscencing fees?

According to the mail at IGN, they are. Its certainly VERY interesting. If they can make it less expensive to make games on the GCN it means stronger third party support. Good news i reckon. The scary thing is the idea that Wolverine X2 was rumored to be cancelled. That looks like a good game...

Well they have a right to change the liscensing fees as they see fit. That last profit finding was interesting. And maybe Nintendo feels to make its fees more competitive. Personally I really don't see Nintendo hiking them.

Well, it was licensing that broke Nintendo and made Sega popular. While the SNEs was still a HUGE success, Nintendo lost almost half it's market share because it's licensing fees were really high and Sega's were very low. Maybe Nintendo can pull off a similar situation.
