The shell actually looks better than the official Nintendo mockup given it's incorporation of the remote and nunchuk.  Some of these 3rd party shells look pretty promising.

The problem with these gun shells is that they all seem to be completely different in which buttons are accessible.  For example, this one apparently uses the nunchaku buttons as triggers, while the pistol shaped one we saw a while ago looked like it probably used the remote's trigger.  I don't want to have to buy a different gun shell for every gun game.

Well at least this shell seems to give you the ability to reach all of the buttons.  It's a tough situation for the consumer, because ideally the game maker would give you a bit of leverage to customize control... but if they're not trying to sell their own shell, they may only have one scheme that fits the standard two handed play style...

I agree with smoke. We need one gun shell that fits all needs.
