Circle of Death- anyone?
« on: January 27, 2007, 08:49:31 AM »
Its a drinking game. One of the parts is called story time. All you do is go ina circle and say a word, then the next guy says a word and you make it into astory. Its kinda like that other game only more fun cuz if yous crew up you take a shot.

Lets play it will be fun I will go first. If you lose you have to take a shot and then post the pic of it here.

I will edit this post to add each word as they are replied so that way we can read the story. the poster who messes up has to take a  shot, it can be anything, except water.

Story Time:
"Librarians You Everyone ____," yeah this isnt going to work. thats it no more for the rat.

* you was the first word in your reply so it counts

You expect me/us to play a drinking game over the internet on a forum that sometimes goes hours w/o a reply? Where is the fun in that? How will I get drunk? Actually, how will I screw up if I have all the time in the world to not only come up with a word, but think up a perfect one to continue the story? Does screwing up mean you misspelled the word? I don't see the point. It could be next thursday before I even have to look for liquor or a (shot)glass just to take a shot/drink.

You should think u p a better game. Something that would move along alot more quickly and actually work over a forum.

Everyone has different rules for Circle of Death (aka Kings).  What are yours?

Mine are as follows:

2-5:  red dish out, black take yourself
6:  waterfall
7:  never have I ever
8:  category
9:  bust a rhyme
10:  sentence
Jack:  guys drink
Queen:  girls drink
King:  rule
Ace:  social
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Beer Pong and Presidents comes to mind as good drinking games. But they require friends instead of a forum.

Alternatively, you can play drinking games while watching TV shows or sports, there's a lot of rules out there if you can't be bothered making it up.

For the hardcore parties where people finish the night passed out on the floor, boat races or Russian Beer Roulette are good.

Or if you're at a party there are some social drinking games like Vikings. Kings Cup and High or Low are easy to get new people into playing.

Mine are as follows:

2: you (pick someone else to drink)
3: me (you yourself drink)
4: whores (girls drink)
5: jive (motion/gesture game*)
6: dicks (guys drink)
7: I never (say something you've never done, drink if you've done it)
8: mate (pick someone to drink with you)
9: rhyme (seslf explainatory)
10:  catergory (name a category, then name the products)
Jack: ??? (I forget, will change this when I remember)
Queen: questions (ask a question, answer a question with a question)
King: rule - pour dink in the middle** (make rule then pur some of your drink into the cup in the middle)
Ace: waterfall (everyone drinks at the same time, can't stop until person in front of you stops.)

Thats how we play, but with one additional rule, the cards are spread in a circle around a central cup, the first person to break the circle of cards around the cup has to drink.

*Jive: starts with a simple gesture/motion and then must be continued around in a circle like a game of Simon(tm). ie I start with a -clap, clap, slap- you would follow with -clap, clap, slap, snap- and so on and so on.

** King: Rule - person that picks up the 4th King has to drink whats in the cup, game is OVER.

And for another fast paced game(sort-of mentioned above) is High-Low-Red-Black-Odd-Even.
You call one of those, if you're right you don't drink, if you're wrong you = drunk really really fast. I reccommend you play both of these as beer games. But Kings is fun with diluted amounts of hard liquor too(make the women play Kings ).

"Circle of Death" (COD) was the term I always used to describe the best technique to take out those rocket launcher demons or fireball guys in DOOM. You strafe around them while firing until they're dead. (Their AI doesn't allow for them to lead their shots, so they have no chance, mwehehe)

But yeah, a forum drinking game probably won't work...
