I read the review, and since I don't have a livejournal:

- I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE that lastability has become overrated.  I do think it's good for a game to have meat to it, but in way too many cases, that meat is tough and gamey and full of buckshot.  Many of Nintendo's games this generation were marred by attempts to stretch them out with boring extras.

- The game sounds decently fun, but I find brawlers too repetitive. Overall, it sounds like the press under-rated the game.  If I had a PS2 or an Xbox, I'd rent it, at least.

- Lots of LOLs, as usual.
That's my opinion, not yours.

EASYCURE: I remember thinking(don't ask me why) this was a blond haired, blue eyed, chiseled athlete. Like he looked like Seigfried before he became Nightmare.

Well, my mom's not really dead, just making a heartless tasteless joke there.

But seriously, I liked the review. It was funny and Ty should write more stuff for PGC. I would give this game a shot if I currently had access to a PS2.

I keep getting responses to this on my LJ even though it's months old. Check out the last post though, lol, I think it's a gimmick poster

I just checked out the YouTube video that's linked in the review.  I forgot how funny it is.

I'd like to point out that Streetwise had real-time weapon switching long before Genji 2.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Can you do a review of God Hand next?
“...there are those who would...say, '...If I could just not have to work everyday...that would be the most wonderful life in the world.' They don't know life. Because what makes life mean something is purpose.  The battle. The struggle.  Even if you don't win it.” - Richard M. Nixon

Bumping this because completely weird and questionable people are still commenting on my review. I couldn't figure out where they were coming from until today, though. They were either coming from that penny-arcade thread, or more probably from:

No, it's a terrible game. I posted my (somewhat less than professional) thoughts in the dude's journal, but suffice to say the game isn't as wall-to-wall awesome as he makes it sound.
