Game Trading/ Where to get Cheap Gamecube Games...
« on: November 09, 2006, 07:07:03 AM »
Ok,
I mentioned this in the Newbie Checkin.......

So where can I get Cheap Games?

There is always EBay, Half.com, Gamestop.....

I found Switchgames.com and Cheapassgamer.com......

This is one I have been researching. It's pretty new but seems to be gaining a lot of users everyday!
www.playerchain.com.... I plan to look into it more when I get the chance....

I know a lot of people probably have experience with Ebay and Half.com...
But, what sites do you go to get your games from if any?

Where can I get the best deals in a safe buying/trading environment.

Got a few from Ebay, usually when I can't find them new but that's pretty rare.

I've spent a little more time navigating some of the trading sites....

www.Switchgames.com
Is pretty much a game for a game trading. You have a game you want to get rid of you post it and what you would like to trade it for and it's supposed to find a match with someone you want to trade with. Not a bad concept. Only problem I see with that is if I want to trade one of my really old games with a new one? Don't realy see that happening all that much....

www.Cheapassgamer.com
From wnat I have seen this is like an open forum where people go in and post wnat they have and what they want and wait for a response. There are also a lot of deals that you have to look for in threads and what not. I just don't really see Cheapassgamer being the middle man for customer service?

and www.Playerchain.com
Cool concept.....I'm digging the layout. You get ferr money for signing up. Haven't seen any down falls as of yet.

Anyone else tried these or have opinions...?

Let me know.

Since you asked I think its fair to reply. I have a collectibles trading post website, we deal primaril;y in Classic games, but since we do consider GC a dead system and cuz its Nintendo, its instant "Classic".

You could check out our website, the link is in the Sig as to avoid violating PGC rules.

We actualy are adding several GC games this week, so maybe you will have luck and find what your looking for.

Plus we are having a sale and offering great rates for shippng. You could also email me at thetransformerscollector@yahoo.com (do not use the email in my profile that has anti spam to the max and only my close friends can get into it. and I aint gonna change that)

EDIT: Forgot to mention Amazon is pretty good too.

If you want to trade games, zunafish.com is awesome.

I've mentioned it before on here.  Basically, you use the site as a databse to see who wants your stuff, then you organize a trade, and pay the website $1 for the convenience.  I've traded many  games this way so far (even trading one I traded for), and I've only had one minor problem (but I didn't lose any money/games or anything, so it was really no big deal).

I checked the site out!
Not bad.....it's been open for a couple of years and has a pretty big inventory...

Here is my question.... If someone request a game in your inventory do you have to trade with that particular person?
I mean if you have a really desierable game and the person requesting it doesn't have anything that you want do you just not accept his request?

I guess what I am saying is that is seems like there isn't a huge chance that you would find that many people willing to trade with you or visa versa?

With that player chain site when you sell your games you can request any game in the inventory from anyone......

That's just what I've noticed so far.....

What is your site? Gaming?
Interesting....

I recently spoke with the admin and they have over 2,200 games in their inventory and over 700 members!

Growing like wild fire.

Need more gamecube games though....
