I think the best kind of "Community Engagement" is when you insult the community (and their mothers), harass the more impressionable members, and smite everyone with a broken karma system while making sure all the blame for the smiting goes on the wrong person.
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.

I think the best way is to question people's grammar.

Does the blame go on the wrong person or to the wrong person?

I think the best kind is when you always do it with your own threads because you're a egotistical jerk and then make no effort to seek other peoples threads instead. :D

to be fair he did use my thread (only after a PM on my part basically telling him it existed so the point still stands)

Could go either way.  I like to pile the blame on other people, myself.

But, if we're going to be full-on grammar cops, can I ban ShyGuy for his Need For Speed thread title?

My favourite part of this post is that I have no F*cking idea what you're talking about.

Sorry.  It has bothered me forever... but I was trying to be nice and not say anything.  Several times, I wanted to go in and edit the title, but I would *never* edit your posts without permission.  Never...

Semantics makes the best discussion, so making a thread specifically about it is a capital idea!

My favourite "community engagement" was when Alison Brie was dressed as a sexy Mrs. Claus and gave Joel McHale a lap dance spouting sexy nothings at him with the voice of a little girl.

No, Brandogg, I just got an erection.
