Wow, those are really creepy.  I don't know which is worse--the Koopas from SMB3 or the Metool from Mega Man.

I didn't get to see all of the artwork by that guy, but it was pretty interesting.  I guess making everyone super-masculine and gross makes it his own, and kind of makes sense in some way, but I didn't think the artwork really captured the spirit of cheesy 80s boxes as well as it could. It certainly did take them to strange new places, though.

Thank goodness for immaturity and cartoony graphics, if my games had looked like that when I was young, I would have never played videogames again as I would have been too scared.
