I never played the first one, but I may have to now! This looks pretty awesome.

There is also a trailer up at IGN.

Hmm, Looks like they're re-drawing the speech bubbles for english.

Looking great, I never played the first one.

Looks amazing...now I gotta buy the Japanese version to get ready for this one.  Oh well, this time I'll be able to read it
Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. Anyone here play Elite Beat Agents at E3?  How was the music?  What songs were used for the available levels?

My biggest fear with this game is that the music won't be nearly as good as in Ouenden.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

They aren't re-drawing the speach bubbles.  This is a new game over the Japanese one.  New scenarios and everything.

Yeah, which means I may have to buy this =o  The original is awesome, and this one looks to be just as zany.  Of course it depends on the song selection, and I'd only buy it after a price drop, but still!

Still!
