I enjoyed maybe one or two Tails missions, I wouldn't mind a couple of them thrown in, but a game of mostly Sonic/Shadow levels would have been pretty good (with some more level variety, of course).  As long as they get rid of treasure hunting, it wouldn't be too bad....

..unless they give Sonic a gun.....

Shhh! Sega might be listening...

I'm still holding my breath for a Rev version but I digress. Hopefully Sega 'gets it' gaming-wise. I don't expect them to smarten up on the business sense of things right away, but I hope they can put Sonic back on the map (3-d that is). Sonic Team can't ride their legacy forever...

It looks very pretty
visually looks like what it would like playing it on one of the top video cards range from earlier this year.
But its sooooooo slow and the whole knock someone into a wall, even if the angle doesnt match right, seems more of a gimmick and the auto lockon land when he jumps on the rope...wth?

The stuff I saw at TGS seems to be the some old Sonic, but with dramatically better graphics. That's not really a bad thing, I just hope that A)It will have Sonic in mind, game design and all without all these diversons/treasure hunts B) A Rev port is in the works that somehow will make controlling Sonic in 3d so easy, the people will be saying "Why wasn't this controller out earlier?"

yes but not to that degree, he was gonna jump parst it but it auto stopped
the mario lockon is too stop glitchyness (found in mario 64)

Weeeeeeeeeeellll.... Sonic was designed to be "teh mature!" of his time so technically, adding guns, blood and sex to Sonic would have been in the spirit of the idea.

...it's my full belief that this game is coming to Rev...and I honestly don't see the difference between these and some fake pre-rendered Killzone demo...so as long as the Rev can do this, I don't see a problem with the graphical power of the system.

Funniest moment at E3 2006.  I'm looking at the Sega booth at a title that looks to be a sweet RPG with really awesome CG visuals that would rival Square Enix.  All of a sudden, Dr. Eggman comes out of nowhere to talk trash to this princess...ruined the whole "awww" effect that my cousin and I had.
