My Mom LOVES Brain Training!!!!!
« on: May 07, 2006, 03:23:13 PM »
Seriously, as soon as she gets home she pulls out the DS and starts playing, & considering she had it with her at work too its even more addictive than I thought.

She will sit down and play Soduko for hours! I sometimes hear her saying "Yellow, Blue, Black, Blue, Blue" and sometimes see her scribbling something on her sideways DS. My Mom plays more video games than I do and she gets the people at her work to play too. She IS the non-gamer now, even though she does't like video games, and I find that really funny.

I bet she's gonna want a DSLite since it looks so cool, and she's gonna leave you with the old, bulky DS .

EASYCURE: I remember thinking(don't ask me why) this was a blond haired, blue eyed, chiseled athlete. Like he looked like Seigfried before he became Nightmare.

Seriously.  Like, seriously.

I was reminded of how complex games can be.  My mother had immense difficulty trying to play Super Princess Peach, which is a slightly complicated platformer.  She kept confusing buttons and everything.
On the other hand, she loves touchscreen games, especially the mini-games from Mario 64 DS, etc.  I showed her Brain Age stuff (not the actual game, as I don't own it), and she was interested.  I'm going to get it sometime.

My roommate watches a lot of military/discover channel and I was suprised to see this game advertised - but not like a game.  It was almost infomercial like.  But snap 20 dollars, I'll pick this up.
