Considering Square values graphics, this is surely a good thing? Nintendojo has an English translation.

The internet says the Revolution will have N64 graphics so he's obviously lying...

Maybe he meant "relatively magnificient graphics". You know, for the Revolution.

And anyway, FFCC for the GC cheated because it looked like Xbox graphics and we all know which one is more powerful. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if more filthy cheating were going on here.

This is comforting but at this point, I don't care.

At 2-3 times more powerful than a GC, the REV has sufficient power for my needs. A game 2-3 times more powerful than RE4, TP, or Metriod Prime is already drool worthy.

That line about "online, magnificent graphics and an intense use of the revolutionary control of the platform" that some sites are reporting about is not from the mouth of Wada.  He didn't say that, and the site doesn't say he said that.

It just looks like that Brazilian site just realized that Crystal Chronicles was coming to the Revolution, and speculated on what it'll feature.  I would gather that a significant portion of the first wave of Revolution games will be online, have good graphics and use the controller intensively, so that sounds like a catch-all comment.  Wada's name was introduced later on in the article (in a completely different sentence) that he was interested in the Revolution ever since he got word of the controller and such.

It seems that a lot of other sites are running this misinformation as news, which it's not.

I can translate that site myself, Wada didn't say anything, it is the site that says that the game might have online capabilities, great graphics, etc...blah blah blah.

Conclusion: Delete this thread, it is useless and so is the brazilian site!

And so is nintendojo.

The thing that was misreported was that Wada (Vader?) didn't actually say that.

Misinformation is so much better than news:

1. It's almost always more interesting.
2. No one gets blamed because they always heard it somewhere else.
3. It's technically the fault of the people it's about for not releasing their own accurate information.

Scott Adams (creator of Dilbert) put it best when he said that a brain is like a stomach: if it's empty, you'll be contented to put anything in there to fill it up, even if it's wrong.
"OK, first we need someone to complain about something trivial. Golden or S_B should do. Then we get someone to defend the game, like Bill or Mashiro. Finally add some Unclebob or Pro666 randomness and the thread should go to hell right away." -Pap64
