Man, don't complain. This is awesome news, and it doesn't rule out that possibility (of GB/GBC downloads). If anything, it's more likely.
You're right. It's like I'm pulling an Ian. J/k. Kinda. It is kind of a downer if I see a good thing as "oh, but they didn't do this as well". Like the parent that sees a 98% on a report card and is, like, "what happened to the other 2%?", etc. Anyway...
They've done this in Japan, haven't they? Is it successful there? I imagine it must be, if it entices people to try games that they can buy pretty much on the spot.
(Think the Revolution will have demos? Perhaps its hard-drive-of-sorts is too small for most games, but hopefully they'll have demo discs. I still subscribe to Nintendo Power (ever since Jan. 1991, with only a 25-month hiatus) in the hopes that they'll have demo discs. They didn't for the GameCube, save for the Metroid 2: Echoes demo disc, but maybe Rev. demo discs will be packed with it? Maybe? Or maybe an access code that'll let you go on the Internet and download DS demos (assuming you have the Wi-Fi Connector, if it can be done that way at all)...)
