Well, I have a few things I want to mention, and really diden't think I should make a seprate thread for each.
Some time ago I came across
this website. By chance I saw it again last night. It shows sort of a family/evolution tree of console controllers. I find it interesting, and I figured some of you might want to check it out, what with all the talk of controllers.
Second, I would like you all, if you can, to check out the demo of
Indigo Prophecy. To me, it seems alot like to old school Adventure games, taken to the next level. The reason I am reffering you all to this is because alot of the gameplay is based on mouse gestures. The whoe time I was playing, I was just imagining playing this, or a similar game on the Revolution. Actually, from what was shown, controll wise, in the demo, I could see the whole game being controlled with only the main controller. Move the character with the D-pad, B could work like the mouse click does in the demo, and A could be some other action button, X and Y could even be used for some less often used action. Actually, this game is suposed to be on the 360 some time next year, so there is a chance for a Rev port...
Lastly is just an observation of mine, and I'm sure some of you may have even had the same though. I am starting to see Nintendo as becoming the Apple of the videogame world. Apple has their portable device, the iPod which is synonamous with Mp3 players, and Nintendo has their's, the GameBoy. Apple and Nintendo both have a die hard following. Both companys tend to strive for things new and inovative in their realms. Even the look of the Revolution is reminicent of an Apple product.
Well, thats enough of my yapping. What do you all think?
