Legend of Zelda .wav files?
« on: September 04, 2005, 04:25:48 PM »
Hello all!

I'm looking for music files from the Legend of Zelda series in the .wav format. I've found plenty of MP3's and MIDI files, but my cell phone only takes .wav files for its ringtones.

In particular, I'd like to have the "Ballad of the WindFish" (Found in MIDI form here: http://www.mcloz.net/midis/z4midi23.mid) as a .wav file. Any help would be great! Thanks! -UB

I recommend getting a program called CDex...It converts .WAV to .MP3 and vice-versa...

Stick your phone up to your Gameboy, go to voice memo, hit record, then play the Ocarina. Select the memo as your ring tone. Voila!

Unfortunately your cell phone will now warp you to the last door you entered each time it rings.

You can convert MIDI to WAV with TiMidity, it's free.

I have the Majora's Mask soundtrack on CD, which songs do you want? (Eternal Legend isn't in there, just a remix that sounds uninteresting)

I've got most of the Zelda CDs myself... Just don't have anything with the Zelda IV version of the Ballad...

I might check out some of the software... I just hate to download software for the conversion of one file...

BTW, Winamp can do file conversions if you have an encoder for the format. WAV is trivial. Just set the output plugin to "disk writer".
