Topic: Nintendogs Merchendise Soon Available

When the Japanese get their paws on the game, they can purchase a cute little Nintendog plush or DS bag to go with it.

Nintendogs is due out in Japan on April 21.  Along with the three versions of the game, Nintendo will also have some cute Nintendogs DS accessories available to purchase on the same day.

The first of the items available is mini plush toys of some of the puppies featured in the game.  They come in two sizes, and have a DS screen cleaning pad attached to the chain on their collars.  The asking price on the Nintendogs plush toys range from $7-11.

Also being made available are Nintendogs-branded DS carry cases.  There's a plain case model, and a deluxe one with a carry strap and a larger game-carry capacity.  Both have the Nintendogs logo on it and are available in beige and navy blue.  The MSRP for the bags are about $13 and $16, respectively.

Damn those plushs are insanely cute.  Whether I like it or not I have a feeling Nintendogs might have Pokemon-like appeal and will sell a lot of DS's (may to make a difficult to plural name Nintendo).  Personally I'm more of a kitten fan myself.
