Why hasn't Nintendo given us any online games?

It seems to me that we are being left in the dust when it comes to online gaming.  We have the right to compete with other players too.  Why should XBox and Playstation have all the online fun?  I bought a broadband connection for the gamecube, all I've seen is one game for online play and two other games for LAN.  As far as I'm concerned I just waisted some money on the stupid thing.  Come on, isn't any body even just a little upset over this?

Well yes I'm a bit upset, but knowing the DS and Revolution will be online with a possibly free service makes me forgive.

Well you're about 2 years too late to be upset. No online is the deadest of the dead of topics discussed here. Members have lived and died discussing it. Nintendo has put DS online, and said Rev will be online, and since they can't salvage the GC situation as it stands now, there's nothing else left to complain about.

In the meantime, you can enjoy all the wonderful connectivity games brought to you by Nintendo!

Umm......you might be pleased with homebrewed software that could luanch any day now...

It's not a true online experience, but it still might let you play Smash bros. online...that's a big thumbs up from me!

I for one  care less about online play. Id rather destroy my friends at home in Multiplayer mode than play with folks online that i dont know. Thats just me.
Metroid Prime 2 with four of your boys is da shiat.
