Topic: Legend of Zelda Trailer Released

More fuel for the Nintendo inferno.

A new trailer for the hotly aniticipated Legend of Zelda has surfaced and can be found on the official Zelda website.

I'm feeling a little euphoric right now but just observed a few things about the Zelda trailer:
- The enemies seem very diverse. That coupled with the kittens and the wolf at the end, could the game have more focus on wildlife?
- Much more complicated fighting. It looks like Link does the SSB taunt at one point, too. Enemies look tougher.
- Looks like the Lens of Truth will be in it somehow

Oh My ! What a siiiiickkk trailer !!

Hmm, now, is it just me or does this game look a lot like parts from Ocarina of Time / Majoras Mask ?
-The wolf at the end...similar to majora and the moon
-The Goron and Link fighting - Can it be the land of Hyrule?
-The ghosts look like they're in the well from OoT
-The castle - could it be the new kingdom or Hyrule from the past?
-The music at the end of the video - its like mystical, similar to a majora kind of tune, no?
-Huge wide open land like OoT and forests like MM
-And the huge spider is like Gohma from OoT

HmMm only time will tell I suppose

Some quick notes:

The sound that the skeleton dogs make when killed is the same sound as Valoo (the red dragon in WW)

When Link kills the giant spider, he doesn't do his typical jump / slash attack.  He does a different "finishing move"

That big ape thing looks kind of like Doshin the Giant.

Also, the Goron has teeth!

Yeah, looks like the "sword plant" from SSB-SSB:M/SC II.  Also, is it just me or did the horse jump over the corpse of that winged creature Link killed?
The graphics look a little odd, and I'm not sure if we're seeing anything very new to evolve the series, but...still cool looking.

The sword plant was already introduced in Zelda II. Just one word to describe this trailer: SPLOOGE

Sword plant? Is that what they call it now?  I've always called it the up thrust and down thrust ever since playing Zelda II.  I believe that those were the names given in the game.
