Topic: another Gamecube disk read error

I tried what the other thread said and it didn't help, my error is when i play for 20-30 minutes and then a screen comes up that says could not read disk consult owners manual.  And if I open the lid and push it back down it starts reading the disk.  But then there is less time in between each time i open the lid until it happens 30sec. to a min. apart.  This is really annoying when i'm playing a game with action.  And I was wondering if anyone knew What i could do to solve this problem.
