Topic: Typing of the Dead and Sega Rally sequels

Whoa, this wasn't expected.  Sega is making sequels to TotD and Sega Rally.  TotD very unexpected, widely regarded as a sleeper hit that didn't have sales that did the game justice.  And Sega Rally 2005, woot!  The first Sega Rally game to be made exclusively for a console and not based on an arcade game.  Typing of the Dead

Seriously since Sammy bought them I tend to no longer care about Sega since any news regarding them is never beneficial to me anymore.

Gotta love how they'll make a sequel to Typing of the Dead but not NiGHTS.

We won't see another NiGHTS game for a long time.  It would only be the most anticipated game ever.  Sega would have to put its all into it and that would mean forsake most other projects.  Hey, sammy might bring fist of northstar to DS.  Hopefully Sammy will bring some guilty gear love to a nintendo console.

Actually IAN Sega announced a 2D shooter for the Gamecube and the DREAMCAST.  the-magicbox.com reported it. (no im not joking about the dreamcast part)

Yes but the DC version will come out in december in japan, The GCN version comes out feburary in japan.

I tend to agree that a new Nights game would be a massive project, and take lots of development and money.  I wonder when they actually will make a sequel, I bet they will someday since Sega has now made sequels to many old games and ones not expected.  Maybe next gen.  

Now you got me excited about CF, any more info about it, anything, even for the dreamcast version?  If so post it up.
