I'm just impressed that an old curmudgeon like Dvorak even gave the Wii a try and even more so that he actually wrote about it.  He's usually too wound up in his own techno-industrial geek world to actually talk about anything that is actually "fun".   Maybe he is finally  loosening up a little.

My first computer was a TRS-80 Model 1.  Whopping 4k of ram.  My second computer was an IBM PC jr.  Love that thing.  First game: King's Quest (the original in all it's 16 color glory).

..does anyone here remember the old Infocom games (Zork, Enchanter, etc.) from back in the 80s?  I've been playing Phoenix Wright the last two weeks (great game, btw) and it reminds me of the great interactive stories that Zork and other games had.  I would absolutely love to see a Zork or Enchanter game in the same style as Phoenix Wright.  Comic book animation and a great story: perfect fit for the old Infocom games.

I don't think anyone anticipated the DS Lite being as popular this Christmas.  I bought one and my coworker bought three (for his three kids).  Everytime I have been to Gamestop, I see someone asking about DS Lites.  Nintendo is trying to get them out of the factory as quickly as possible, but it's going to take time to replenish the stock.

Gamestop in Alabama said maybe end of January.  I found mine at ecost.com, but looks like they are sold out now.
