Nintendo Gaming / Whats under the flap?

Hey long time reader and visitor of the forums and site first time post so here it goes...
I've been trying to figure out if there is any significant reason why we haven't seen under the front flap and why there is no official word on it. What if its the gameboy player? It could be slots for the carts to go into! I think most people would like that considering that the Wii is backwards compatible with the gamecube and it would make the gameboy player obsolete.
Think of the library of games that the Wii will have at launch with the great lauch line up already plus the virtual console, and the entire gameboy archive! You could even play DS games using the wiimote as a stylus you just wouldn't actually have to touch the screen just hold down a button maybe? I don't know but it does kind of make sense to me.
