Well I never get a new madden game the first week because the price always goes down latter in the season. I would wait till Wii Madden comes out though but i ams till skeptical how it will controll. But on theother hand all I did was describe to seom friends of mine (all PS fanboys hardcore) how the controller should work for madden and NBA Live and they are starting to actually consider the Wii where as before they all wanted Ps3 no matter how much it cost.

For me its not about if the controller offers new things or not cuz thats not a point, I am NOT the type of person who wants things to change, my game collection is made up of classic colections and sequels because THATS the type of gamer I am. I do NOT want things to change ever.
I didnt like the N64 as much either and thats what worries me about the Wii, it is forcing peopel who are comfoprtable with the way they are to change, as far as FPSes go I am excited, as far as fighting games and NORMAL (non FPS) action game I am worried.
Also I am still unconvinced that Sports games will benefit except the ones tailoer to the controller, IE golf and tennes and the like, football doesnt seam to benefit at all neither does basketball. and I still hate the idea of playing a racing game witht cotnroller tilted sideways, tahst just stupid IMO, I always use steering wheel controller period and they act like they wont even make them cuz the motion sensors are 'better.'
So far I se Zelda as having potential and as far as that goes I may have fun playing that, Mario on the other hand, doesnt seam to impress me much so far. MP3 and Red Steel sound good but there are bettere FPSes out there and we havent heard about any of them coming to Wii so I dont care if Red Steel is teh SH@* to play if they games I WANT to play don't get made for the system.

What worries me the most is aside form fighting games there still are a crap load of other games that could be worse on the system regardless of whta EA and Nintendo says. Lets take madden for an example, most peopel who play Madden play it because they arent good at football in real life and Madden gives you that chance and all you haev to do is press the A button and rotate the analog stick. EA says Madden 07 will be great cuz of the controler but what if people find out that its more fun to press the abutton on the dual shock-less ps3 controller? Maddenisnt the be all end all but its just one more genre that if it doesnt work oout better will hurt wii sales, with GC madden was the same as ps2 but with Wii its not even close.
Also Fighitng games are one of my favorite genres and I still cant figure out how to make it work with Wii.
I agree with the editorial we all just have to wait and see.

Well My sister is a major Nintendo fan, she even has a poster of Miyamoto on her wall and she used to post here once ina while under my old account, but I moved back to NV and she stayed in KS so I dont see her anymore. I will see if I can get her an account of her own so she can post regularly. Other than that I didnt think we had other girls besides birdgett and Lindsay.

Seeing how poorley the Ds online has been handled I wasnt expecting Nintendo to really come through with the Wii anyways. I was hoping that at least Madden would be online because getting EA online would be a victory plus that was the game i was going to use to sell my Sony fanboy friends on who are bigger NFL fans than Sony.
I just hope that when the onliune does come it comes full force and hits hard like Live did. I relly dont care of Mario Baseball and battalion flop are onbline I want the games PEOPLE PLAY online. Smash Bros I care abnout and I no doubt think Online will boost MarioParties appeal but we need the EA games and 1st person shooters online more than the mario stuff. DS had great Online plans and nintendos stuff looks good but how many 3rd parties use it? so far just activision right?

They still need to bring back the Pack-In and I think Wii Sports should be it. I mean the two systems with pack-ins at lainch sold very well adn the two with out sales just kept declining. Look at how adding a pack-in to the DS pushed up sales for a while. Its a proven fact consumers are more liekly to invest ina game system if they get a game with it.

o I advise you to read their corporate info or talk to your ivestment representative before you get your shopes up.

it's not so much the price as the date. Mostly because I want to pre-order it as soon as possible because I dont want to be waiting weeks after due to shrotages.
Also I found this on Gamespot.11/14/2006 its the date Madden 07 is supposed to be released, so I take from that the console should relese close to that date unless its spekulation but they had it as the actual date instead of TBA like the others.
So has any stores begun taking pre-orders already?
