I think you're right about it being due to the caching.  I get this error a lot when trying to look at content that would be accessed infrequently (like news articles from a day or two ago, or pages for specific games) but almost never for more recent articles that a lot of people would be viewing.  I've seen it happen only once when trying to load the front page, but a few seconds later it was working again, maybe because someone else had accessed the page successfully in the meantime and so it was cached again.  Could it have anything to do with this?

Edit:  As far as I can tell, disabling cookies in Firefox keeps this error from occuring.

Is there anything special about your town that gets you high turnip prices so often?

Sorry for the delay, and for missing the PM.  I thought maybe no one was using this thread any more by the time I'd gotten the game, so I didn't check for a while after late at night the last day I posted.  Anyways, those were my first two weeks of buying turnips, and I think it was probably just a fluke that I got a really high offer both times.  I didn't see anything over 127 this week.

You might have already read this in the Talkback thread, but I wanted to post it in the correct place.  I get the same error message as ShyGuy when trying to load most pages in Firefox, and refreshing doesn't seem to make them viewable, but if I switch to Internet Explorer and load the page that's giving me an error, I can then view that same page in Firefox.

I get an error when trying to view most pages in the latest version of Firefox.  The message below occured when I was at the list of DS games and tried to view the info on "Brain Age":

If I load that page in Internet Explorer, it then works the next time that I try to view it through Firefox.

Nook is buying turnips for 480 each, and it's currently 5:30 PM for me.

I sold all of my ~4000 turnips for 166 bells each at 10 AM, then logged in during the afternoon and Nook was buying them for 473 each .  I didn't realize he could change his price in the middle of the day.  Anyways, he's still selling them for 473 and it's 6:30 for me, so if anyone wants to visit my town  in the next few hours and sell turnips my friend code is 5240-4906-0440.  If someone does visit, all I want in return is for someone to buy an item from Nook so he can upgrade.
