Nintendo Gaming / 3 new SSBB characters announced!!!!

*RUMOR* Sakurai announces three new Smash Bros. Brawl characters
June 7th, 2006
While there isn’t an official confirmation, I would expect this one to be true. Sakurai, Smash Bros. Brawl director let three new characters slip via a Japanese radio show. And the winners are…

Get ready to shed a tear for Mr. Game & Watch, Young Link, and the Ice Climbers…as a return for these characters doesn’t look like it will be happening. On top of that, it seems that the final number of fighters will be somewhere around 40, so there is plenty of room for brand new entries.

Reader Juno Reactor is calling bull on this story, staying that it stemmed from a fake poster on Neo-Gaf. While there hasn’t been a confirmation of the story, keep a watchful eye out.

so take it as u will

Nintendo Gaming / Discuss the ds: E3 Style!
« on: May 09, 2006, 01:52:06 PM »
i am very impressed with nintendo's E3 ds line up! my biggest and most favoritest game - Yoshi's Island 2! that was whipped out of nowhere!  Mario hoops 3on3 looks like it belongs on the psp, theres so many character models and so many colours its reallyy sweet.
Question:> does final fantasy III have fmv's or is that just concept art, bc fmv's will take that game to a brand new level... k soo lets discuss.. ttysoon

oh and one otheer thing (well 2) wheres a new pokemon rpg? and i was really hoping for a mario 64 2, but beggers cant be choosers....

the system seems wierd, like the insides, everything is on different levels, like the raised screen and the curved edges, id have to see in person, but i can get a feel of how small it actually is (compared with the gba cartridge) but other than that im for sure getting it, its very sexy. EB will prob have a promo that u can trade ur old ds and 2 games to get a new one.... well i hope they do cuz i cant justify having 2 ds's

wow, i found my new best friend! finally someone agrres with me
now, the ssbds would have wi-fi up to 4 ppl, and they should keep the same fighting engine, kinda like a port, but only the fighting engine. it would be cool if they made the levels vertical, so they can use both screens

Nintendo Gaming / RE: New Super Mario Bros.
« on: January 24, 2006, 08:11:26 AM »
ever since yoshi was introduced in smw, he has become a part of the mario team, hes pretty much mario's pet. He was in SMS, not the way i would have liked him to be in it, but it was still freaking cool that he was in it.  if yoshi isnt in this game (it will still rock) but i think it will feel as though they took a step back and just a little incomplete

how cool would it be if they had super smash bros for the ds, it can handle it the graphics. It would look sumthing btw n64 (which was the better of the 2 in my oppinion) and gc.  they could feature more gameboyish characters.... for example ash from pokemon.  Nintendo would be rich, and we (or maybe just myself) would be very happy. i would really like to hear wat stages, characters, weapons modes and your opinions on SSB.ds.
