Yes it is. I seriously doubt they'd unveiled anything new at PAX even if they are going.

Nintendo Gaming / Touchscreen controllers and you

This may be old but...

Touchscreen with force-feedback

Could be it. We all said not feeling the buttons was the problem with a touchscreen controller.

So what do we think?

Nintendo Gaming / RE: What type of games should the Rev launch with?

I reckon...

-A game with plenty of guns, sex and swearing

-An FPS with unbelievable graphics

Actually what about an entirely adult launch lineup to shatter some images?

Another thing about design... a friend of mine believes the PS2 design is superior because it fits into peoples home arrangements more like a traditional DVD player and has the Disc tray. The gamecube in general cannot fit into home thetre shelvesand the like and even if it did cannot be open because of the top loading.

I'm not advocating trays or looking like the PS2, but it should be a consideration.

Then perhaps what is required is mulitple colourings.

If they release the Rev with every single possible colour combination everyone will find something they like.

Not green, Xbox is green.

Personally I prefer the red idea for Nintendo.

How about silver, black, and red, metallic or otherwise.

Phazon suit anyone?

MJRx9000 - That's pure genius.

Although it leaves it wide open for the jokes.

Maybe GameTube isn't such a good idea after all...

...but then in a few generations time it will be PS5, Xbox 4, and ReggieStar 3 and it looks like Nintendo is behind.

...as far as I know only the Nintendo DS has kept its codename. Will Nintendo stick with the Revolution as its name or change to something stupid?

I personally believe The Revolution is an undeniably cooler name than say PS3.

Artimus: I believe he was referring more to the iPod with "overpriced fashion accessory."

We all know Apple computers are the best.

...and yet the PS2 was released a year before the GameCube and XBox and only a year after the Dreamcast.

The PS2 has inferior graphics and still outsells the others. If the Xenon is released this year and the others next year, Microsoft may be hoping to do the same thing Sony did. It may end up being weaker than the revolution or PS3, but as we've aready seen that doesn't matter.
