Hello all, this is my first post. Thats kinda big for me considering how long i've been visiting this site. I found this news article very compelling though. I used to work at a Gamecrazy a little over 2 years ago and I was only there a few months till I found a better job. From the very beginning, I could tell something was different about this place. I live in the Socal area so maybe it only applies to my area. I was interviewed by the regional manager, he asked what my favorite system was and I said Gamecube. He then asked me if owned an Xbox, i lied and said yes. He then proceeded to ask me about Halo, we spent the rest of the interview talking about how great Halo is. So I got the job. From that I began to notice why this place smelled a little fishy. From the big Green X in the middle of Gamecrazy, to the way when you first walk in the store the color motif is green, to how the first games you see are xbox software, and at the other end of the store is the gamecube software. From the very beginning our managers let us know, "we push the xbox console and its software over all other systems". I know this is quite a bold statement, but its true. Anytime we were seen selling a system over the xbox, we werent scolded, but in a subtle way reminded that we should sell the xbox. This setup went for all other stores in the area. This was over 2 years ago so maybe things have changed a bit, but this is honestly the way it was. This isnt just some fanboy rant. I am a very happy owner of an xbox now with abox live and a ps2 which coincidently is being repaired by Sony at the moment because of disk read errors. In closing, I love this site! and Resident Evil 4 rocks!!1
