TalkBack / RE:Nintendo Reports Profit Despite Low GameCube Sales
« on: August 06, 2003, 09:14:25 PM »
Okay, it's 800,000, not 80,000 everyone is saying.  Why would you even believe that?  Zelda came out in Q1 and in May, they were the number one selling console in the US alone.  In Japan when the GBA Player came out, they sold 60,000 cubes in that month and have been selling at least 10,000 a week since.  Someone just forgot to add a zero.

Nintendo Gaming / Onimusha game for GC? Lets hope :)
« on: March 10, 2003, 07:06:10 PM »
Well, it's gonna be on PS2, because that's the home of the Onimusha series.  But then there's Onimusha Tactics on GBA and that might link to Onimusha(can't spell the name of the 4 player fighter) andopen up some cool tricks that they can't do with tehPS2.  That would rock.

Nintendo Gaming / Hits of 2003, Rumors, Big Guns, speculation
« on: March 01, 2003, 06:20:53 PM »
Technically, Monolith Soft didn't make Xenogears, Squaresoft did.  The franchise was then bought by Namco at the great plea's from the creator of Xenogears and former Squaresoft employee.  They then picked up some more people from Square that worked on Xenogears and made Xenosaga.

So it's for the most part, the same people but definitely a different company.

We also have Mario Kart³ to think about.

TalkBack / Miyamoto D.I.C.E. Roundtable Highlights
« on: March 01, 2003, 11:24:14 AM »
I think Treasure could possibly be a second party now.  I mean, the only game I've seen them make for another system(that I can remember of recently) was Ikaruga for DC and that was ported(with enhancements) to the cube.  They also denied the rumor that they were porting it to PS2 as well.  Here's hoping.

TalkBack / Square Unveils Seiken Densetsu for GBA

Well, it does say 1-2 players so this is definitely more than just a graphical upgrade.  That's what makes the Mana games so enticing to me.  You can play them cooperatively with a friend.   Cant wait for this one and hoping for SD2 and SD3 to be remade as well.  That would rock.

Nintendo Gaming / Are you satisfied with your Cube at the moment?
« on: February 17, 2003, 02:57:49 PM »
Yes, I'm happy with my purchase.  I've had it since a little after launch and bough more games for it in a year than I have any other system I've had.  Only PS1 have I had more total titles.  I'm currently in the middle of Star Fox Adventures and am liking the story.  Game's easy but that's cool.  It's currently kind of on the backburner though as I was playing through Kingdom Hearts(stuck at stupid giant Ursula, kills me every time I get her power down to where if I get one combo on her, she'll die.  It's extremely annoying!) and was watching through the first season of Angel(love this show!!!).

Can't wait for Wind Waker and then who knows what's next for me and my little cube, probably the Cube GB Player.  I still need to beat Golden Sun as the second one comes out in April and having a bigger screen will help me see.

Nintendo Gaming / Incoming SEGA GCN announcement!

I'm hoping for Shining Force 4, or a port of all 3 scenarios of SF3, or how about both at the same time.  That would rock.

Nintendo Gaming / Pikmin 2 and Mario 128 in 2003!
« on: February 07, 2003, 05:42:07 PM »
All I know is I'm buying anything Zelda related and I'll buy both Mario 128 and Pikmin 2.  I loved Pikmin and can't wait for the game with more of everything.

To all out there, I'm the poster formally known as Turkeyboy007.  This here's my first post.  I tried to get on earlier but the system wouldn't let me join.  Glad to be here.
