yeh i found viewtiful joe to be basic and boring. pikmen2 is a really amazing strategy type game. if you like racing games get wave race(so cheap now) or FzeroGX or SSX3 snowboarding. super smash brothers is a wicked fighting game. if you like rpg's get Tales of symphonia or baten kaitos or papar mario 2. get metroid prime 2 echoes if you like first person adventure type. oh and if you like metal gear series dont miss out on the twin snakes, classic version. if you like shoot em ups get Ikaruga. multiplayer fun games like wario or super monkey ball 1&2 r cool too altho most of games ive mentioned are multiplayer aswell. . . the end.

the cheapest import price ive seen is UKP 150 at http://special.getnintendods.co.uk/. im not sure if its a good deal tho. if its selling at $149.99 in the states, thats between 80-90 UKP (im guessing)

Nintendo Gaming / European Pricing
« on: November 05, 2004, 10:18:41 AM »
"A report this morning in a UK magazine has speculated that Nintendo plans to launch the DS handheld in late March 2005 in Europe, with a UK price point of UKP 129.99 (186 Euro), significantly higher than the equivalent US dollar pricing.
If Nintendo really does opt for a UKP 129.99 price point, as MCV speculates, the console giant is likely to come under fire for overpricing in Europe - where that UK pound price point would translate as around 185 Euro, compared with the $149.99 price point in the United States."

is this true? . personally i think its offensive but could it just be bull - i hope so

Nintendo Gaming / RE:IGN-Cube's on another Nintendo-rant

microsoft are losing the most money yet no one mentions this?  there may be a few thousand more xbox's sold worldwide( thanks to thick americans ) but who cares? its sony that run the console industry, while nintendo just relax and do their thing. its microsoft who are panicking because they are competing with the might of sony, so let them. if it wasnt for nintendo's presence , than microsoft could compete directly with sony, and that would be sad..

if nintendo sacked their whole european department maybe things would be different. nintendo europe do such a lousy job , most retailers take the same view as ign.

in most of the shops over here the shelf space set aside for the cube is a fraction of the efforts they go to for xbox and ps2. in all honesty, its microsoft who have ruined the cube this time round not ps2. the xbox is a s*** console and hasnt made any money at all, but microsoft are possessed into dominating the console market and will waste millions and millions of $$ to get it done. microsoft paid theyre way into the market, buying third parties (bungie etc), buying shelf space, giving back more margin to the shops if theyre selling xbox's etc. this leaves little incentives for shops to stock and sell the latest cube titles (or the rare titles like doshin etc), so we get left with a small corner in the shops with most of the leftover s*** games being sold at full price 39.99. yes the cube is a repeat of n64 demise but since when does that change anything. i love nintendo even tho i dont even like mario (or luigi , i thought metroid prime was a letdown, and i still have played wind waker (even 2nd hand i cant find it cheaper than 30). big claps for Activision, they just released X-men legends on all platforms. Currently playing: pikmen2, donkey konga Currently wanting: X-men legends, Tales of symphonia

i picked up turok evo and extreme g3 for $5 each , thanks for making cool games worthy of 5 bucks.  since the days of amiga (and maybe earlier?) you served gamers admirably. Long live Exclaim
