Nintendo Gaming / animal crossing - how do I get rid of carrie!?!

Hi if anyone can tell me please how to get rid of animals on animal crossing.
Ive tried:
Sending hate mail
countless pitfalls
pushing her around
hitting her with a net
sending old boots
digging up their garden
being mean
not speaking to them
if I see them having a happy chat with someone, I seperate them
and she STILL wont leave!
please help
