Bill go fist yourself. Online games are amazing.  It is fun to play in clans and with friends online.  Guess it sucks for people without friends that like to play with themselves though, doesnt it bill?

I knew the PS2 HDD add on would suck. Not a chance in hell I am buying it to play FF.

Mod: Watch your language, buddy.  There are better ways to express your feelings about Final Fantasy.

Only can be used for a new Gamertag.  Go to the XBox.com forums and ask around.  You will find your answer there.

General Gaming / RE:Xbox Music Mixer ?QUESTION?

You don't need Live to transfer music to your XBox.  All you need is to put a CD in your XBox, go to music on the XBox Dashboard, select copy CD, and copy one or all songs to the HDD.  Viola!

NPD is an unbiased, valid source, unlike MS, Nintendo, or Sony so stop your bitching.  If they say it is true, than you better believe it, fanboy.

No one will ever try to support nintendo for online because nintendo doesnt even support themselves for online and sees it as a waste.  What a load of bull!

Dude, first of all XNA is software development tools that MS is offering to EVERYONE, including Sony and Nintendo. Second, why would GC2 have better graphics and power than MS?  MS has connections with computer companies, has 3 IBM processors, a custom graphics chip by ATI (yes I know GC2 will have IBM and ATI) and online.  Possibility for built in storage.  Nintendo, if you read their articles and statements from Miyamoto and Iwata or however you spell it, are concerned about software design getting bad in place off beefing up the tech, as they stated at the E3 press conference.  Nintendo is more likely to focus on some alternative or innovation in gaming instead of horsepower.

General Gaming / RE:Sega Dreamcast 2????????????

This is a totally bogus rumor people.  I mean cmon how can you believe it?  Sammy even just bought the rest of Sega.  Their focus is going to be more on arcades now and less on consoles.  Not to mention Sega is now a third party company.  Sega fans, I am sorry, but there is not gonna be anymore hardware from them...besides, who cares anyway.  Sega has always had bad hardware, little third party support, and they would be the 4th console maker.  There is no room for 4.  Hell, I bet that APEX PC Gaming Console is gonna suck if they try and compete with the main three.  If you have ever bought a tv from them, you know not to buy anything else from them ever.

General Gaming / RE:N64 games have become as cheap as dirt!

That is probably because it is getting close to becoming 2 generations old.  It is outdated hardware.  I mean look at PSOne stuff.  It is cheap too.  Not that I would buy it now though.

General Gaming / RE:Microsoft attempting GT4 killer
« on: May 24, 2004, 07:55:59 PM »
Nah cuz PGR2 is an arcade racer.  This new game is like GT4 because you can customize and tweek all kinds of things on the car and race it.  It is a racing sim.  Personally, I am not interested in them.  Some people are hardcore about it but we should wait and see.  By the way while we are on topic of "____ killer", anyone that thinks Killzone is  Halo killer is dumb.  Anyone that thinks it is a Halo 2 killer needs to have their @$$ beat.

General Gaming / RE:EA supporting Xbox Live

Um actually it is very clear.  They are bringing games to Live for multiplayer like they did for PS2 starting with Madden, NBA Live, Fight Night, NCAA football, and NCAA Basketball.  Plus it will have all of the features that Live has, which is far better than PS2 online (I have both and beta tested Live so don't argue).  EA is better off with XBox Live as it is better for online console gaming.

General Gaming / RE:HALO & HALO II Discussion
« on: May 24, 2004, 07:50:37 PM »
For people thinking that Halo is just another fps, you are sad.  You need to really play MP and campaign.  There are so many nuances in it like realistic limitations like only carrying 2 weapons and 8 grenades as well as proper weapons balance and combinations that work well in specific situations that it is truly set above all over fps.  It is the current standard of FPS and Halo 2 will expand that with double weilding, other new limitations, jacking vehicles, the use of physics and environment interaction.  The story is fantastic too and online will allow for clans and customization to armor.  There is so much to halo that all you people that scoff at it and think it is another FPS are missing out.  I know because I was once the same as you.  I got my cube before my xbox because I thought halo was another fps but when i got my xbox a month after, I understood what all the fuss was about.  It FAR surpasses Goldeneye and is the new standard in FPS.  Mark your calendars because if you have an XBox, November 9 will rock your world.

General Gaming / RE:Sony and Microsoft at E3
« on: May 24, 2004, 07:44:26 PM »
Ok I know there are a ton of Nintendo fanboys on this forum since this is a Nintendo focused site, but seriously all three had decent showings.  MS had a lot of cool looking Live titles and now has EA for Live, Halo 2 was shown off (and to all you people thinking that MP2 or UT2004 are better, you really need to read up more on it and check out all of the reviews as many gaming sites gave it best of show this year).  I too, though, wished they would have announced more XBox 2 stuff though, but the truth is it is too early for new hardware in the XBox's life cycle and they didn't want attention taken away from their good line up for this year.  For Sony, they had some cool looking games, mainly MGS 3, which will kick some @$$ as well as other stuff.  PSP is the biggest announcement and while it does look like a cool and useful multimedia gadget, it is essentially a portable PSP with clie like features.  Not that I don't want one, but it just seems like a sheek consumer electronics device/pda with a ps2 built in.  I will still buy it, though.  Nintendo had a great showing this year, compared to last year which just plain sucked.  DS looks amazing, great gameplay potential, MP Hunters, the new Mario, and Mario 64x4 look sweet.  I just wish they would change the design a little or add an analog stick instead of digital pad which is a thing of the past and that they would make it a little smaller and cooler looking.  PSP definitely beats DS in cool looking appearance but software is another story I bet.  Overall, great E3 and a ton of stuff I want to buy for my PC, XBox, GameCube, PS2, GBA, as well as getting the DS and PSP for my collection.  I know I am gonna get a lot of criticism for this, but Halo 2 hands down was my fav part of the show.  If you have never played the original over XBox connect or on pc and dont understand the nuances of halo and how it controls, then you just dont know what you are missing out on.  Both single player campaign and online will rock!
