I thought it was great!  Yeah, the story was pretty basic, but really it was just fun to see the whole cast back, all these characters you'd adventured with for so many hours.  It was like a little reunion!

Nintendo Gaming / RE:DS Multiplayer - your experiences

Hey there, Stuart.  I've played a couple of multiplayer matches so far myselft.  I've played it with a classmate at college, we both brought our DS's into the compuer lab and while we took a break, we brought them out and played Super Mario 64 DS for a while, which was fun.  I've also played it at work, I work at a cafe and when my friend and I get some spare time, we'll bring out our DS's and play some Mario 64.  A third person at work has a DS, so hopefully soon we'll get some three player matches going.  Haven't been able to try out Metroid multiplayer yet, but I'm hoping to soon.  The multiplayer so far has been really enjoyable, especially because you don't have to worry about wires and in some cases, having multiple copies of a game which is nice.  Good luck on your article, hope this helped!

I agree Ian, they did seem awfully down on Nintendo, when I thought the presentation was really rather exciting.

Finally found a downloadable video of the Nintendo press conference. It's 330 megs. Click away!

Actually, they gave Nintendo a B, Microsoft a B+, and Sony a B-.  All generally equally enjoyable, but Nintendo was not 'the worst'.

Still looking for a downloadable version.  gcadvanced.com said they'd have one, but so far it's not up.  I'll keep an eye out.
