TalkBack / RE:PGC is Six Years Old!
« on: March 07, 2005, 09:48:41 AM »
6 years is a huge amount of time on the web, especially for smaller sites like yourself which dont rely on huge corporations for funs, but just simple banner ads.

Ive been coming for...what? 3.5 years now, and I still visit today. Yes, there was a rocky period right after Billy left, but you guys definitly picked up and continued with a great website.

Congrats.

Nintendo Gaming / Sega!

SMB was in arcades, and Ive played it, but its VERY different..graphics suck, and its just the main game.

Remember this about arcade ports: if they were released on the DC arcade unit (I forgot the name, sorry) theyre technically DC games. Beach Spikers wasnt, so its console exclusive.

SMB2 is new.

So is SSS.

Sonic Mega Collection is esentially new.

So are all the sport titles.

Virtual Striker was new.

PSO episodes includes the 2 DC games, but has the whole new game.

At this point SEGA cant risk much...JSRF was paid for by MS, but if not, it would have been a big money hole for SEGA. Until they get more stable financially, theyll keep making GC ports...and PS2.
PS2 has Tennis 2k2, Rez, and Sega Bass Fishing 2, all DC titles.

Dont forget SEGA is developing Virtual Fighter Quest and Fzero.
