Nintendo Gaming / S-Video Cables

Hey everyone..

I was looking into a good set of S-Video cables for the GC. I picked up the Pelican s-video/av cables, but I got some funny lines going up and down the screen. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this.

Or, could someone recommend a good set? Besides Monster Cables, of course... I know they're good, but I'm not looking to spend 30 bucks on cables right now.
