Nintendo Gaming / RE:Digital only titles?

You can still play SSBM without using the analog stick. Set the stock to one life, and items on, and see who can stay on the stage for the longest. You never know when a bomb could just drop from the sky and hit you, and the stage could morph itself at any minute, resulting in movement! Fun for the whole family.

Oh yeah, and Tony Hawk Underground i think is digital.

the above is meant as a joke as far as I can tell hehe

Had to ressurect this thread cos i'm hopefully gonna pick up a copy of NBA street 2 today.
I am really interested in the option of customising the rules!
I want to try as close as possible to use "BASEketball" rules from the movie hehe

wondered if anyone has done this and has any tips.

general tips on the game would be cool too!  It really looks to be a fun game, if a bit old

thanks

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Accessories for the GC?
« on: February 13, 2004, 04:08:26 AM »
I bought my GC today!! and to be honest, the only thing that has annoyed me, and annoyed me plenty, is no way of saving my games in the box!  I'm used to Pc and XBOX so I guess It's just that memory card whatsits is a new concept to me, but I had to get a Game memory card and second controller for £15 which in itself is not a bad price, but I hear I may have problems with the memory card overheating as it's not a Nintendo one :/

Hard drive add on will make my life easier but should of been included as they are cheaper than a night on the town nowadays.

I'd much rather of paid £30 for a hard drive add on, than £6.99 for a third party 4MB!!!!!????  memory card :/

Hi,
I'm new to the forum and new to owning a Gamecube as of today, so please forgive me if this is a stupid question etc

I really like the look of super monkey ball, as I bought the GC to play some pure FUN games.

Question is:  Is it worth me buying both Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2, or is SMB2 all i should really buy.

Don't want to buy both if everything from SMB1 is included in SMB2

Cheers
